On Saturday, January 27, three Scotland County Scholar Bowl teams competed in the Schuyler Winter Invitational Tournament. The field consisted of 20 teams. Each team played 6 preliminary games followed by a playoff or consolation pool.
Scotland A consisted of Sadie Jackson, Cohen Small, Adelynn Hoyal, and Austin Ambrose. They went 4-2 through the Prelims and played in the first consolation pool where they went 3-0 to win the pool. Scotland A finished the day in 9th place with a record of 7-2
Scotland B consisted of Amiah Durham, Ciara Smith, Mason Trimby, and Morgan Jackson. They went 1-5 through the Prelims and played in the second consolation pool where they went 1-2. Scotland B finished the day in 16th place with a record of 2-7
Scotland C consisted of Kennady Sapp, Aria Mishra, and Emory Black. They went 1-5 through the Prelims and played in the second consolation pool where they went 1-2. Scotland C finished the day in 14th place with a record of 2-7.
Mexico A won the tournament.
